How long will it take for my ad to be published?

Usually no more than one business day.

BoPoolen’s administrative staff only work on weekdays. If you created or edited an ad over the weekend or after office hours, please be patient knowing that we will not be able to process your ad until the following Monday or the following day during office hours at the earliest.

Why isn’t my ad visible?

BoPoolen reviews all ads for available housing before they are published to ensure that the terms are reasonable. It is important to us to make sure that all housing arranged by us is safe and secure to Lund students.
If changes are made to an ad on the website, the ad must be approved again before it can be published.

What happens if I am not registered at the address?

Before an ad is approved, we want to make sure that there is a connection between the advertiser and the address. If you are not registered at the address in question, you will need to verify your connection to the address by sending us a copy of your lease, contract of sale or other similar document.

If I don’t have a Swedish personal identity number, what do I do?

You can always publish a looking-for–housing ad as well as view available housing ads. If you’re thinking of renting out yourself, just get in touch with BoPoolen and we will help you publish your ad.

How does ”My subscriptions” work?

Once you have logged into your profile, you can create an alert under ‘My subscriptions’ and receive an email as soon as an ad is published on the BoPoolen website that matches your housing search.

How do I create a subscription?

Once you have logged into your profile, create an alert by ticking the boxes for what you are looking for, and click on ‘Subscribe to above selection’.

How do I unsubscribe from a subscription?

To unsubscribe from an alert, uncheck all the boxes and click on ‘Update your subscription’ below.

How can I change my subscription?

In order to change which alerts you receive, untick the boxes of all alternatives that you are no longer interested in or possibly extend your alerts by selecting more alternatives. Click on ‘Update your subscription below.

How does ‘My favourites’ work?

Here you can save the ads that you like and are interested in. Only those that are still current/available will be displayed.

How can I save an ad under ‘My favourites’?

  1. Make sure you are logged in
  2. Go to the ad you like and want to save
  3. Click on ‘Save ad’ (the button with a star)
  4. 4. The ad is now saved and can be found under your favourites

Why can’t I find an ad I had saved under ‘My favourites’?

Only ads that are still current/available will be displayed here. If the ad is no longer visible it means that it is no longer on the website. The advertiser has chosen to remove the ad.

How can I leave a review about another user?

At the bottom of the user’s profile you can leave a review about that user.

If you are logged in, you can search for users through your personal profile page and easily find the user you wish to review.

BoPoolen will screen and approve all reviews before they are published on the website and become visible to all users.

Why can’t I find the review I wrote?

BoPoolen needs to approve all reviews before they are published. Therefore, reviews do not become visible right away.

How can I delete a review on my page?

You cannot delete reviews yourself, but please contact us at BoPoolen and we will help you.
