Why isn’t my ad visible?
BoPoolen reviews all ads for available housing before they are published to ensure that the terms are reasonable. We work to ensure that all housing advertised on our website is safe and secure.
If you make changes in an already approved and published as, the ad must be approved again before it can be re-published. BoPoolen’s administrative staff only work on weekdays. If you created or edited an ad over the weekend or after office hours, please be patient knowing that we will not be able to process your ad until the following Monday or the following day during office hours at the earliest.
How long does my ad stay published on BoPoolen.nu?
Your ad stays published for 14 days before it is automatically unpublished. After 10 days we send out an automated e-mail with a link that you have to click if you want to extend the time period that the ad stays published. We recommend that you check your junk mail if you haven't received this e-mail from us.
What happens if I am not registered at the address?
Before an ad is approved, we want to make sure that there is a connection between the advertiser and the address. If you are not registered on the address in question, you will need to verify your connection to the address by sending us a copy of your lease, contract of purchase or other similar document.
What do I do if I don’t have a Swedish personal identity number?
You can always publish an ad that you're looking for housing, as well as view available housing ads. If you’re thinking reabout renting out yourself, just get in touch with BoPoolen and we will help you to publish your ad.
How does "My subscriptions” work?
Once you have logged into, please go to "My profile" and scroll down to "My subscriptions". There you can create an subscription and receive an email as soon as an ad is published on the BoPoolen website that matches your housing search.
How do I create a subscription?
Log in and go to "Your profile". Under "My subscriptions" you can create an alert by ticking the boxes for what you are looking for, and click on "Subscribe to above selection!".
How do I unsubscribe from a subscription?
In order to unsubscribe from an alert, uncheck all the boxes and click "Update your subscription to above sections!".
How can I change my subscription?
In order to change which alerts you receive, untick the boxes of all alternatives that you are no longer interested in or possibly extend your alerts by selecting more alternatives. Click on ‘Update your subscription" below.
How does "My favourites" work?
Here you can save the ads that you like and are interested in. Only ads that are still published will be displayed.
How can I save an ad under "My favourites"?
Make sure you are logged in
Go to the ad you like and want to save
Click on "Save ad" (the button with a star)
The ad is now saved and can be found under "My favourites" on your profile page
Why can’t I find an ad I have saved under "My favourites"?
Only ads that are still published will be displayed here. If the ad is no longer visible it means that it is no longer published on the website because the advertiser has chosen to remove the ad.
How can I leave a review about another user?
At the bottom of the user’s profile you can leave a review about that user. If the ad has been removed you can contact BoPoolen by e-mail to get a link to the profile you want to review. E-mail: email@example.com BoPoolen will screen and approve all reviews before they are published on the website and become visible to all users.
Why can’t I find the review I wrote?

You cannot delete reviews yourself, but you can always contact BoPoolen for help.
